Course Description

This one-day course introduces anyone interested in improving business performance to CMMI practices related to service delivery and management. CMMI is an integrated set of best practices that enable businesses to improve performance of their key business processes. CMMI also provides guidance for applying this set of best practices in a business or organization, to ensure quality and timely solutions that delight customers and end users.

This course is composed of lectures and class exercises with time allotted for participant questions and discussions. The format of the course requires that students actively participate throughout the duration of the course without missing any class time.

    •  Locate information in the CMMI Services View related to best practices in delivering and managing services
    •  Use the CMMI Services View to effectively to assess, improve, and sustain process capability and performance

Course prerequisites

Each student is required to have taken Foundations of Capability (or CMMI V2.0 Upgrade Training) before taking this course
